Control Plan is a structured document stipulating all product and process parameters and how you can control it using control methods and if anything gone wrong then there should be a reaction plan.
This document helps to maintain the product and process in control, to produce high quality parts. It is one of the core tool used in wide range of manufacturing industries specifically automotives.
Previously it is covered in AIAG APQP 2nd Edition manual. It was a part of APQP. Now AIAG has released the Control Plan 1st Edition last March 2024.
